Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
As many of you are aware, there was a horrific attack at London Bridge.
My dear friend, Wayne Marques, who is a British Transport Police officer was seriously injured as he went towards the danger in order to try and stop these terrorists in their tracks.
He undoubtedly prevented even more deaths occurring by purposely shielding the general public from these terrorists.
He confronted all 3 knife-wielding terrorists armed only with a baton.
He risked his life and shown an incredible amount of bravery attempting to stop these armed and determined murderers.
He confronted them and played his part in slowing them down. He now faced many months of physiotherapy and psychotherapy, with no guarantee that he'll return to active duty ever again.
I would therefore kindly ask if we could collectively raise whatever we can, so that he can use his time off effectively towards his rehabilitation and anything else that will help him and his family at this terrible time.
Please give generously.
I thank you so much!
