Cyclone Idai ravaged Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe on March 14th 2019 and has been described as the worst weather-related disaster to hit the southern hemisphere, causing devastating floods, killing and injuring thousands of people, ruining crops and infrastructure. Around 3 million people have been affected, but the real toll may not be known for months as the countries deal with a still unfolding disaster.
