Story
Long Bennington Football Club are in the process of looking to purchase a compact tractor with a large mowing deck and groundcare attachments. This will enable to the club to tend to the playing fields, without having to employ external contractors.
We are currently in discussion with the Lincs FA, Playing Field Committee & Parish Council regarding this.
In principle, Lincs FA have offered to support the purchase of this machinery with a 70% grant.
In very broad terms, the machinery is valued at (maximum) £22K, so we have around £7K to find.
So I've decided to run in next years Brighton Marathon and in the process i'm hoping to raise at least £2000 towards the additional funding required.
Support from players, parents and local businesses woudl be greatly recieved.
