I am trying to raise raise funds for a defibrillator which will be located on Langtoft Playing fields, where my son’s under 8’s football team play, along with other teams and which many members of the communitY use.

Although there are many people who can potentially benefit from a defibrillator, this cause is very Close to my heart! In my family we have a genetic heart condition known as Long QT Syndrome, also known as sudden death syndrome. It is unconfirmed at this time, but a strong possibility that our 7yr old son Oliver may also have this condition. If he were to go into cardiac arrest Chest compressions and mouth to mouth alone could not save him. The type of LQT Syndrome that Oliver may have involves a fault with the electrical pulses in the heart, therefore a Defibrillator would be the only thing to give him a chance of survival. This is a viral piece if equipment tgqt can help save lives.
