Story
We 'gals' are walking over 120 km in one week as part of the Camino Ingles to help raise funds for Langford Cricket Club's much needed new pavilion.
Langford Cricket Club is so important to our village community - and to us. It provides cricket opportunities to so many local people - men, women and children. Indeed many of us who are walking also play in Langford's wonderful women's team, having taken up cricket in later life.
The cricket club is also a brilliant social hub for our little village. But our pavilion is ancient - indeed it's almost falling down. It desperately needs replacing, something we plan to do later this year - with your help.
So please sponsor us on our walk - anything you can donate will make such a difference. And knowing you are supporting us will help us limp on, when the blisters bite and the knees feel like giving out! THANK YOU ...Ginny, Desi, Bo, Caroline, Kay and Louise xxxxxx

1 year agoWe wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on our Camino adventure. The many kind donations made all the difference to us and will make a HUGE difference to our village cricket club. When we embarked on this, we didn't dare to dream we'd hit this total. So to have done so is amazing. If you meant to donate and didn't get round to it or perhaps want to donate a bit more there's still a little time. We are keeping the page live for another two weeks. Thank you.

1 year agoWow…well today we walked what felt like miles and miles, climbing most of the way. The painkillers are getting a lot of use as is the sports injury tape…but we’re over half way now and determined to push on through. Thank you to our supporters, it makes such a difference having you cheer us on…x
