This little 10 month old puppy was found by us on Sunday 15th Jan abandoned, starved & scared cowering next to a bin on the road by my house... her luck began to change with us not running over her when we pulled the car over to dump our rubbish in the bin! Only when she moved out of the way of my partners feet did we know she was there.
We picked her up in a blanket took her home and placed her in quarantine in the shed ( we have our own 3 dogs to protect) made her hot water bottles and gave her a box bed, our lovely neighbour & good friend made her rice & fish to eat....something she hadn't seen or had any of in a very long time!
On Monday morning we took her along to the vets that work along side SATs rescue centre where she was examined by the lovely vet. He took some stool samples which were tested and came back as negative for Paro but positive for Croninvirus which is similar to Pavo but more treatable, he then decided that because of her malnutrition as well she should stay at the vet hospital for her treatment paws crossed she will recover
Now for the fundraising part... We are unsure at this time how much the vet fee is going to be until her treatment is finished and she will be moved to the rescue centre if space becomes available or to a foster home The rescue centre has made their vet discount available to us for her treatment which is very much appreciated however we still need help with funds so please if you can donate any amount large or small to help this puppy it will be a massive help to her. All money raised will follow her on her journey to a new happy, loved, life
