    Weʼve raised £2,038 to Help with the Isle of Man's response to the Afghanistan and Haiti humanitarian emergencies.

    Story

    Our hearts are heavy as we continue to hear updates from our Christian aid family about the devastation from the earthquake in Haiti and the insecurity in Afghanistan. Many have been displaced, forced out of their homes, left with no food, water or shelter. Please help with these dreadful humanitarian crisis with this emergency response. Funds will be divided equally between Christian Aid UKs two emergency appeals for the respective countries. The funds will be used to provide emergency supplies. Shelter, food and water to deal with the immediate crisis.

      Afghanistan: Very sadly I have had to change the photo to a non-identifiable photo. Sadly this is the situation we find ourselves in with the worsening situation. If you pray, please continue to do so. Prayer stations have been erected in Peel Cathedral.

      PT 1: Just to share a brief update, I attended a virtual meeting with our colleagues in Haiti yesterday and they were so grateful for the support. Pascal and Jonides, who both live in Port au Prince, spoke about the situation on the ground with roads to the south affected by landslides and continued gang violence in the affected areas. Despite these challenges, they are doing incredible work in collaboration with our local partners, Koral and SJM.
