£80raised of £250 target by 3 supporters

Weʼve raised £80 to Help St. Bartholomew's Parish Church in Colne with their Kitchen Renovations to enable them to provide Wednesday Lunches once again.

Funded on Monday, 9th October 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

For several years St. Bartholomew's Parish Church in Colne provided lunches on a Wednesday to the Local Community. These tasty and nutritious meals at exceptionally good value were enjoyed by many people, from parishioners to local residents. They gave people the opportunity of a home cooked meal and very often friendship of others. Unfortunately our service was halted in the Spring, but with help and support form the local council we are hoping to start them again once much needed renovations of our kitchen has been completed. However this will need an injection of cash! So the church walking group are aiming to walk from Colne to Barley, up Pendle Hill and back to church hoping for as many people to sponsor us to raise funds to do this.
