    Story

Last September I told myself that I would complete the End 2 End mountain bike challenge in 2017. At that time I remember saying to people "I used to love being on my bike, I'd always be on it" but the reality of this challenge isn't so idilic. The course is around 45 miles in length and involves 4,500 ft of climbing along the route between the Point of Ayre and Port Erin.

I've put a number of hours training in wherever I can and will be stepping this up over the next 5 weeks before the event on the 10th September. I am hopeful of finishing the event and will be trying to do so in under 5 hours.

I would really appreciate it if you could sponsor me and give me that extra motivation. All funds raised will be donated to the LT4 Fund, set up to raise money for the dedicated spectator stand at the Ballafletcher Sports Facility, the home of Corinthians AFC. The stand will be a permanent memorial to Louis Thornton who passed away on 17th September 2016. Louis was devoted to Corinthians from the age of 10 and ultimately became captain of the first team. A spectator stand in his name would be a fitting tribute.
