During my younger years I spent a lot of time over in Africa.
When me and a friend first arrived in Zanzibar around 9years ago we were not so familiar with living in an African country. Luckily we met a young girl although only in her early teens she taught us the ropes of living a Village life, cooking, fetching water and hand washing our clothes. She used to laugh how clueless we were.
Tragically last month Ayda past away during complications in child birth. She has left behind a beautiful baby.
On Sunday 4th December I will be trying to keep up with Harris and his friend Maggie as they cycle around the 5k lakes in Rother Valley.
