    Story

    This is my son Quentin.

When he was born I thought I had a baby girl, it would appear I was wrong.

For the last 3 years my son has been living as the person he was ment to be.

After being bullied horrifically emotionally and physically at school for being who he is I chose to home tutor him.

When I arrived to collect him from school with cut marks on his arms I knew that he wasn't safe in that environment.

After being under a psychologist and therapist for 3 years he has finally been discharged and has recently completed his first year in college.its not a course he wanted to do, but none the less he saw it as a way of re-entering society in the hope he'd find his way from self loathing and depression to hope and acceptance.

Boy has he come so far. Come September he starts a performing arts course and dreams of being on Broadway....he has the voice of an angel!

The only thing that destroys him daily is that his body does not match with his mind. This is the most heartbreaking thing to see as a parent, his tears as he bath's, his inability to be as active as he wishes - he binds daily and it's so restrictive. He cannot go near mirrors due to dysphoria.

I cannot wait on the NHS process anymore, so I am looking to raise funds for my boy to have the surgery he so desperately needs.

So he doesn't need to bind, so he can go swimming, so he can be comfortable and confident in his own skin.

My children are my world and my heart breaks every day for him.

Please help my child achieve his dreams xxx
