The Ludgershall Great War Commemoration Group, in conjunction with LTC are endeavouring to refurbish the Rose Garden as a lasting memorial to the 'Fallen' of Ludgershall in time for the 2018 Remembrance Day Parade on the 11th of November. The main feature of the design is a large poppy in the centre of the garden.

Lovell, the building contractor are clearing the site and preparing it for the finishing touches which, with the help of the Crown PH, are mustering local volunteers, in a DIY SoS manner, to build walls, lay blocks and do the finishing touches.

The whole project will be predominately funded by public, business and various organisations within the town. 1300 bricks are required and can be purchased at £10 each via this just giving page.

All contributors, both large and small, will be noted on a Commemorative Garden Scroll which will be displayed at the Centenary Exhibition to be held at the Memorial Hall on the weeknd 10/11th of November 2018 and in the Town Council Offices afterwards.
