We need to raise £1175 for a new portable hoist for Luke. The hoist is an Oxford Advance Folding Hoist which is strong, robust, safe and has many features Luke will benefit from throughout the rest of his life.

Luke is paraplegic, following a car accident meaning he has lost the use of all his limbs, permanently paralised from the neck down. He requires a wheelchair to get around everyday and will never regain the use of his arms and legs.

Luke has lost his independence, his home and business and many friends.

Due to the severity of his injures Luke requires 24 hour supervision and lives in a care home whilst he awaits suitable accomodation.

If together we can raise the money for the hoist Luke will have a chance to live his life as an independant man. He will be able to visit friends and family and live his life without restrictions. The hoist will enable Luke to move into independant accomodation so he can move around his home at his own leisure with friends and family. He will be able to join friends and family on holidays and regain as much normality back as possible.
