Next June, myself, 9 other students and a few teachers will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge in order to raise money for St Barnabas House Hospice.

The 3 Peaks Challenge consists of us climbing 3 of the highest peaks in Britain in just 72 hours; these are:

Snowdon: is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd.

Ben Nevis: is the highest mountain in the British Isles, located in Scotland. Standing at 1,345 metres above sea level, it is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains.

Scafell Pike: is the highest mountain in England, at an elevation of 978 metres above sea level. It is located in the Lake District National Park, in Cumbria, and is part of the Southern Fells.

My personal aim is to raise £200+ for this charity through taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses, both within the hospice and in the comfort of patients’ homes across West Sussex. I believe it is a cause more than worthy of fundraising for and donating to.

100% of the money raised through this will go to St Barnabas.
