That photograph of me reading the Cyclist magazine was taken last year, in hospital, as I recovered from a major operation to remove a rare cancerous tumour. That tumour was thankfully discovered early by my GP during a medical.

Although unrelated to prostate, I'm lucky to have recovered well and hope I'm now fit enough (not to mention mad enough!) to get back on my bike and cycle the 300 miles from Bournemouth to Burnley in support of the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal along with 20 others, ending at Burnley Football Club on 12th May 2018.
