When our dad got diagnosed with throat cancer that's exactly what happened it was appointment after appointment but Keith Cancer link played a huge part in my dads treatment.
Keith Cancer Link offer a transport service to and from any cancer related appointment, at No cost to the patient at this already worrying time this is just Amazing, they wait with you, talk with you, support you, they are so reliable and even just a friendly smile on that daily journey just when you need it, when my dad was fighting cancer this service was just brilliant and nothing was too much, long drives for daily treatment was made easier, with not having to drive, family not having to take days off, no taxi fees, no public transport when you were at your lowest and most vulnerable immune wise, we are so lucky to have this service and I would like to raise as much as I can so that this service can be available to everyone and anyone like my dad who needs it, we never know whats around the corner or when we or anyone we know may need this brilliant local service, speaking from first hand experience it made a horrendous few years more manageable and a lot less stressful knowing the transport was already there.
