Story
I am running the Bath Half Marathon on the 12th March to raise money for the Bath Children's Cancer Fund. This fund enables children and their families financial assistance at the time of diagnosis and throughout their treatment at the Royal United Hospital.
The financial impact on a child's family can be significant often causing a major strain on budgets. Many parents have to stop working after their child is diagnosed with cancer, experiencing a loss of earnings. All this is on top of the worry and emotion that a cancer diagnosis brings.
