    Story

One of our local Brownie Leaders Rachel from Sonning Way Glen Parva and her 14 year old son came home on Thursday evining to witness her house destroyed and the family pets dead after a fire ripped through their home. The fire broke out in the house which was caused by a faulty heater bulb in the tortoise vivarium house.

The blaze had caused severe fire damage to the ground floor and serious smoke damage to the upstairs of the property. Rachel has been told that her house will uninhabitable for nearly a year whilst clearing up and re-building. We all want to help Rachel and her son in this awful time for them both .

We are hoping that Rachel can start over in a temporary property but all her furniture and belonging are gone.

Any donation will help to start over again. Thank you
