Story
Mad Millennials has been set up by Charlotte Brockman and Lauren Bamford, to try and support Millennials with their Mental Health and Wellbeing. As the co-founders we have partnered up with O2 Go Think Big and a division of the NHS to create what we hope can turn into a platform, community and space to support the millennial generation and those feeling lost or overwhelmed in their 20-something years.
We have set up this page as an extension of the 2 fundraising events we have held/are holding in Belper, Derbyshire and Maidenhead. If you can't make it or you just feel you would like to contribute towards Mad Millennials please donate, however small would be gratefully appreciated!
Mental Health awareness is something close to both our hearts so we are really excited to get going. We want to be completely inclusive and believe that more needs to be done to help support mental health difficulties and other life challenges that are so prevalent in our age group, something we have both experienced the full force of. Our plan is to host 2 events to begin with, 1 in London and the other in Manchester towards the end of January, featuring relevant interactive speakers. We also plan to start up a podcast and are looking to get as many people involved with both aspects as we can. Keep a look out for more information to follow!
Thank you so much in advance, Charlotte and Lauren x
