99% of maternal deaths happen in developing countries. Although the numbers of maternal deaths are reducing in Bangladesh, we would like to help further.

A team of UK doctors will help train Bangladeshi anaesthetists in improving the safety of anaesthesia for pregnant women and for children. This is part of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland's SAFE course https://www.aagbi.org/international/safer-anaesthesia-from-education

We plan to help Bangladesh to manage to run annual courses. For this, it will save annual travel costs for Bangladesh to have their own training manikins. We have selected the most cost-effective and robust anaesthesia and CPR manikins. We would be grateful for contributions towards the cost of these manikins as we believe that the training courses using these manikins will help save patients' lives in Bangladesh.
