Story
We are members of the African Link committee at Lockerbie Academy who have been linked with a partner school in Malawi since 2009.
In June 2018, we are hoping to help the people of Thawale by travelling out to our link school, Thawale Primary School, and assisting with teaching and community work. If enough money is raised, we also hope to begin construction on a local community centre where the children and their families would be offered a safe space to learn and grow as a community.
We are doing a sponsored bungee jump to raise funds to go towards the trip and the project so that we can work closely with our link school and continue to effectively contribute to the area.
