"Helping Manchester and Bury Homeless" is a community group that provides outreach help for the homeless in Manchester and Bury. It's been operating as a soup kitchen for over a year, and is in the process of obtaining charity status.

They provide an outdoor Soup Kitchen and Outreach service & pop up clothing shop from 7.30pm Tuesdays , Wednesdays & Sundays from 7.30pm.

Outdoor soup kitchens help the most vulnerable people, who don't feel they can access indoor services.

They feed 80-100 people per night, and have so far housed 3 people. It's entirely run by volunteers and relies on donations to help needy people in Manchester and Bury.

I'll be running the Manchester Marathon on 2nd April to help fund this. Volunteers like my daughter help by giving up their evenings every week.

£300 will provide 80 sleeping bags.
