We are Mandem Meetup, a community interest company based in Manchester. We are a not for profit company run by the community for the community.

One of our projects is a weekly outreach programme providing clothes, shoes and sleeping apparatus for homeless people based in Manchester. Throughout the week we collect donated items and on a Wednesday evening we distribute them, at a spot in Piccadilly gardens we have consistently used for over 2 years.

We are currently fund raising as we need a place to keep all our donated clothes. The storage unit donated to us has been sold and we have to leave the premises. The size of the unit we occupy now is 50 sq ft. We are having to find funds totalling £1200 to secure the storage unit for a year. To do this we will be partaking in a sleep out on the 11th December in Piccadilly gardens. Throughout the day and all through the night we will be handing out amenities and clothing to the people that need them most.
