Story
My son Michael and I are walking the River Thames from the Thames Barrier in London to its source in Gloucestershire. It is a 180 miles long (289kms), which we will be walking in stages and aim to complete by end of Sep. We are taking on this arduous challenge to raise funds for two worthy charities which are close to our hearts: the Bexley branch of the National Autistic Society (bexleynas.co.uk/), who provide vital support for young people on the autism spectrum and their families; and New Lodge Centre (charity n# 1073553, https://newlodgerda.org.uk/) a horse riding school in SE London, which offer a wonderful opportunity for people with physical and/or mental disabilities to derive therapeutic benefits from contact with horses.
Any amount of donation is welcome. Thank you for your support
