Story
I am running the Bath Half Marathon to support Lifeskills. The charity is based in Bristol and caters for those most vulnerable to injury such as adults with learning difficulties. Lifeskills has unique theatrical scenarios including houses, a road, shop, electricity substation, dark alleyway, building site and railway line.
Participants make their way through the scenarios learning and experiencing emergency situations, including practising emergency 999 calls and experiencing the consequences of trespassing on a railway line – all made very realistic with the use of light, sound and wind effects.

I am running the Bath Half Marathon to support the great work of LifeSkills, Bristol which uses their interactive centre to teach vulnerable people how to deal with potentially difficult or dangerous situations by actually letting them experience risk, but in a safe environment.
