Margaret Tressa Stansfield is mother, sister, auntie, friend, advisor and hard worker, who lives in Chesterfield.

In October 2017 Margaret was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and further investigations proved that surgery is not a possibility. The only treatment available on the NHS is invasive chemotherapy with only a small chance of it being successful.

Since October Margaret has been trawling the internet looking for treatment and solutions to her diagnosis. She has found a treatment being offered by Professor Bulent Berkarda and Assistant Professor Mehmet Salih lyikesici MD. at ChemoThermia Oncology Centre, Istanbul.

After a lifetime of hard work Margaret is bringing together her entire financial resources (£20.000) with additional contributions from friends and family. Her treatment of 5 will cost in excess of 60,000 euros

She has booked her first and most expensive treatment in early January, and has paid €18.000 for this. The second session will be in the region of €10.000 towards the end of January and from here on she is desperately looking for crowd funding contributions to complete her remaining treatments and expenses
