Wenah e raisedth Lillie’mae is 8 years old and has a few health issues , lillie has a life limiting brain condition called pontocerebeller hypoplasia which we’ve been told that lillie coukd pass away around the age of 10 although some will live until their teens , she also has uncontrollable epilepsy , she is registerd blind . She is also fully tube fed, non-mobile and non-verbal ans is such a happy little girl . Lillie is our granddaugher who we have had residency of since she was 4 1/2 months !! Since covid-19 started i. March last year lillie has not been into school and has had no access to physio , we did pay to get assessed at another private phsyiotherapist but when we got back intouch to start the sessions they had permanently closed 😢 We found out about the ikan brace and lillie was assessed and we found it would be suitable for her . The ikan brace is amazing , not only will lillie be able to walk along with us she wouldbe able to stand at a table , she would be able to use it in her wheelchair too and to join in activites with her sister it will also help strenghen her legs and also help with her head control .. The ikan is £2000 which is expensive but well worth the money if it helps her...
