Mario was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer on November 14th 2016. He started a course of intensive chemotherapy which lasted several months. Reacting better than expected the NHS were able to remove the primary cancer during a 6 hour operation. Sadly due to a blood clot caused by the chemotherapy, a planned liver resection to remove numerous tumours had to be cancelled and Mario had to continue chemotherapy. To date he has received over 1300 hours of gruelling and debilitating treatment. However there is now light at the end of the tunnel. A professor at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan has offered to carry out the surgery that the NHS can't offer to extend and maybe even save Mario's life. A total of Euro 26,000 needs to be raised to make this possible. Please help 💕
