I have now transferred the first tranche of donations amounting to over £18k. I am utterly humbled by everyone’s kindness in helping us smash my original target of £2k. These much needed funds will now go to support David FP and his border canteen as well as those other Ukrainians in their hour of need. Thanks to Godfrey for coming along and helping me with driving. Finally Thanks for the generosity of Godfrey and Fiona’s friends in Moray and our friends in Fife and indeed St Leonards parents and staff for providing supplies for our trip

V quick update. I am simply astounded with everyone’s generosity which unbelievably has taken your donations to over £18k!!!! Godfrey and I are now on our way home and just stopped short of the Polish / German border. Everyone in Poland has risen to the challenge this crisis is throwing at them. Their positive approach is simply wonderful. In the hotel tonight here is the poster in the Gents. Once again thank you all so much.

Well we got there! We Unloaded some immediate food snacks and baby items etc at the station and were then directed from there to a local Synagogue who are Co-ordinating local volunteers and donations which go directly to the Ukrainians (irrespective of their denomination), fleeing the disaster in their country. They were so so grateful as ran out of food last night so being re-supplied today was a great boost. They are putting the word out to those in need to come and collect.Thank you so so much for your support unbelievable generosity M&G
