At 17 Gary was admitted to hospital with a brain tumor and was given a 10% chance of surviving. He beat those odds, however it left him with limited use of his right arm and leg.

Since then he has got and beat cancer 4 times. 1st was testicular cancer, that required surgery. 2nd was when it moved onto his stomach which was once more life threatening surgery to remove part of the stomach.

3rd was when the stomach cancer came back and required chemotherapy. 4th was then skin cancer on his back in May 2013 which required minor surgery but they weren't happy they had got it all and took another bit off in December 2013.

However, due to medical negligence which the hospital have admitted Gary never got his regular check ups meaning Gary wasn't seen again until 2015 which with Gary's history is shocking and a disgrace so when Gary found a lump under his arm we stayed positive and hoped it wasn't cancer but on the 30 August 2016 myself, mum and Gary were told that it was back and it was terminal all due to someone not doing their job right.

Through all of this Gary has fought and beat it always with a smile on his face and worked even with this all going on. Only last week, Gary made the decision to stop working due to the pain in his right arm and leg becoming unbearable.

Gary has been in and out of hospital ever since he was 17 but this time it is definitely the scariest and hardest fight he will ever have to deal with as the hospital are not offering anymore treatment for Gary we have had to try and find alternative medicines to fight this disease and that we will do.

We are raising the money for treatment and also to give Gary an opportunity to do anything on his bucket list if there is nothing we can do to help him fight.
