Hi....My wife has Chiari Malformation which is a structural defect of the brain causing vision loss in her left eye and nerve damage all down her left side. This greatly affects her day to day mobility. For the last 8 years she has received treatment for this disability at Liverpool Neurology center. She has had over 30 brain operations in the last 8 years and we are desperately trying to put an end to them or to at least ease her symptoms but so far nothing has worked. With having four young children it has been extremely difficult for them not being able to enjoy the simple things in life such as going the park or playing games with them. I currently have a full time job which means Katie is unable to leave the house on her own during the day due to her physical limitations.
My wish is to raise enough funds to be able to send Katie to the Chiari Institute in New York, regarded as one of the best in the world and to help her get her life back again and be the mother to her children she yearns to be.
