We hope that you feel this is a worthy cause. The old truck gave life to Yotam's community. The new truck will last for longer and be the glue that keeps Yotam's church and community together.

Yotam came to stay with me in 1998 when I introduced him to my Church, Grove Methodist. We helped him buy a truck in 2014. This was a God-send to his community and Church but the truck was 20 years old, and after 4 years intense use on unforgiving roads it is no longer repairable. This time we are going for a newer truck. We have already raised £11,500. We hope to raise £18,000 - only £2,000 of this need come by this appeal.

I first met Yotam when I visited my Sister who was teaching him on a VSO placement. This was in 1988. I was taken by his enthusiasm and interested in his life and in Malawi. We shared a faith in Jesus. He wanted to be an evangelist and so I supported him as a way of expressing my own faith.
