Story
The first Challenge Cup final took place at Headingley in 1897 when Batley beat St Helens 10-3
To commemorate the 120th Challenge Cup final, myself and 4 friends will be walking the 220 miles from Headingley to Wembley over a week, arriving at Wembley stadium on 26th August in time for the Challenge Cup final.
We are doing the walk to raise money for two very worthwhile causes. The Rugby League Benevolent Fund to assist Rugby League players with life changing injuries as well as families of players who have passed away in tragic circumstances along with Breast Cancer Charities and so all monies raised will be split 50/50 in relation to these very worthwhile causes.
Please support us by sponsoring us for our journey.
Thank you.
