I'm a 55 year old woman who suffers with PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder. I have a little dog Maddy who saved my life and means everything to me. We currently live in a flat with very uneven and sloping steps and because of the medication I take which can affect my balance, I have had several bad falls. We have found a little flat, with a little garden area for Maddy but the initial fees are more than we can spare right now. They require £200 just for my dog alone as a deposit (which I have paid so as to hold the flat) but doing my maths I have found that I will not have the remainder of the money in time for moving day, plus the removal costs.
I have committed myself to this and am so afraid to lose it, my health is paramount because I live alone and I worry that if I were to have a serious fall then no one would know or even find me.
I'm actually embarrassed to do this. There are far needier people with more important needs, but a friend suggested I try so I thought I have nothing to lose.
Anything at all would help. If I only got to £10 then that's £10 more than I have right now..
I so want a fresh start for Maddy and me.
