Few weeks ago I decided to test myself and cycle from my home in London to Woodstock festival in Poland.

I've always been a cycling enthusiast and as every year I go to Woodstock I thought that I can combine these two favourite things together.

I am a huge animal lover too and I thought that by cycling so far by myself I can get enough attention to raise money for an Animal Shelter called 'Przystan Ocalenie' in my home city-Tychy, in Poland.
They save animals from slaughter houses and from animal cruelty to give them a bit of happiness and a safe place to stay.
They have a lot of different animals with them all year around. From cats and dogs, to horses and donkeys. As any place like that, they need our help to help others.
I chose them because, from my childhood they were the first animal shelter to do such a thing in my home town and I loved the idea of all those animals having a second chance in life.

I will cycle around 1,300 km (807 miles) from South West London through France, Belgium, Netherlands, all across Germany to finish in a town called Kostrzyn nad Odra. If I manage to cycle 150 km per day I should finish the trip in 8 days, but to be safe I plan to give myself 10 days starting from 24th July 2017.
I am going to spend most nights at camping sites and hopefully some with Couchsurfing hosts.

All money raised from this fundraiser will be given directly to the Animal Shelter by me personally.

Kilka tygodni temu zdecydowałam sprawdzić się i jechać na rowerze z Londynu na Festiwal Woodstock w

Pomyślałam, że jadąc tak daleko mogę zwrócić Waszą uwagę i zrobić zbiórkę na rzecz przytuliska dla zwierząt 'Przystań Ocalenie' w Tychach, które zajmuje się końmi i innymi zwierzętami, które były niechciane, lub przeznaczone na rzeź.

Moja trasa wynosi 1300km z Londynu przez Francję, Belgię, Holandię i Niemcy do Polski.
