    Story

St Marks has been a beacon of hope and ministry for approximately 150 years. As with all buildings of this age she is now in need of some tender loving care. The roof and magnificent spire are leaking, the ancient heating system has broken down and is obsolete. the kitchen and toilet facilities have for some time not been updated and when all is said and done we cannot afford to fund these repairs which will enable our church to go forward for another 150 years. Many of us will have cherished memories of important family events and occasions at St Marks and we all hope that she can stand proud and serve our community for many more years to come, but this won't happen without your kindness, help and support. I know we are all asked to support many valuable causes and at times it can seem overwhelming, but we ask you, today, to see if you can spare a little something to help give us a chance to keep our precious church open for all going forward. Thank you so very much.
