Story
Can you help me raise funds to help orphans or vulnerable children to stay in education or bring back those who have dropped out due to lack of funds. Their parent/s died either due to HIV/AIDS or other reasons and their guardians are not in employment. Education is not free in Zimbabwe. The cost of their education for one year including one set of school uniforms, school writing books and school fees currently is about £140 (annually). Would also like to fund toiletries and basic food supplies for children in orphanages or in the community. Also funds are being raised so as to start a school feeding program. Will be visiting these children in November.
Buhera Rural Hospital is in great need of basic medication or medical equipment to support the rural population that it serves. There is also a focus on prevention of diseases such as mosquito nets, water testing kit and treatment of rural water sources. Funds will also be needed to ship clothes, shoes, etc
This year have managed to pay school fees for over 40 children already. Last year we provided medical equipment to Buhera Rural Hospital and shipped shoes, clothes, toys, books that were given to Mary Ward Children’s home and those in need in the community. Jordan Orphanage Trust gave names of 20 orphans or vulnerable children and food hampers were given out to them. Thank you for your support.
