Nicola was diagnosed in May 2016 with Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma triple negative - Stage IV.

This is a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer growing in only a few short weeks.

Nicky has already undergone 6 rounds of Fec-t chemo, 2 rounds of tablet chemo, 6 rounds of Carbo Platin chemo, 20 days of intensive radio therapy, a masectomy and lymph node removal.

Nicky is a single mum, balancing the needs of a 3 year old son, with battling against cancer.

Unfortunately, because of how aggressive her cancer is, Nicky is not eligiable for any UK Trials, and now conventional treatments are failing.

Nicky and her family are not giving up. They are trying to raise money for Nicky to receive:

- IV Vitamin C Therapy
- Immuno-Therapy in Austria or Germany

These treatments will cost a minimum of £80,000 for which Nicky has a great support group of family and friends working hard to raise funds.

As I am riding in the Prudential RideLondon 100 mile cycle on Sunday 30th July (and having already raised money for the charity Tommy's), I'd like to use this opportunity to have people donate to this very worthy cause.
