Story
I'm taking part in 5 triathlons this year to raise money for Jo's Appeal, a charity set up in memory of my wife Jo who died of ovarian cancer at 38.
Jo's Appeal is a feeder charity which raises money for 3 good causes; national women's cancer charity The Eve Appeal, St Mary's Hospice, Ulverston, and the FGH oncology unit.
So far we have raised £67,000 in 18 months and have made donations totalling £35,000.
The Furness public has shown astounding generosity and supported the charity wholeheartedly, which is testament to Jo's popularity and is helping to give her a fitting legacy.
The 5 triathlons I'm doing are at Ulverston, Keswick, Windermere, Bassenthwaite and South Manchester.
