Story
I have worked for over 15 years as a college lecturer and have always lived with my kidney issues. However, it all came to a head in 2015 when I was made redundant and then fell ill which has led to dialysis treatment. I have been living with family for 2 years, sleeping on a couch and finally, after a year's planning, I have been given a flat by the council which I am extremely grateful for. However, I have a lot of stuff in storage that needs to be moved as well as wanting to set up internet access in my flat so, when I am more recovered, I can apply for work. I don't like handouts but I have worked all my life and now need some support to help me get my life back a bit and get on the road to recovery.
