I am spending 15 days in Ghana in the summer to volunteer in a children's orphanage. My goal is try and help disadvantaged children who are not as lucky as we are. These children live in unfortunate areas without the bare foundations that we take for granted everyday; clean water, three hot meals a day and most importantly our families. Children who live in the Kumasi Children's home are mostly abandoned children, children of unstable parents and street children. Children who just need our love and support.
