Story
Many of you already know who we are and all about our story, but for those who dont here goes...
Damon and I have had an extremely hard time over the past 12 months ๐ We rekindled our relationship in March 16 & fell pregnant with our first baby pretty much straight away, our pregnancy was perfect, every scan was perfect, everytime we heard our babies perfect heart beat, our faces gleamed with pride, we were about to start growing our little family ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ
We attended our 20 week scan and everything was perfect with our BOY, yes that's right, we found out we were having a BOYY ๐ we sat together for weeks trying to come up with names we agreed on & finally we picked MARLEY-ANDREW ๐ everything was perfect & all we needed was our son in our arms
Around 22 weeks 3 days pregnant ๐คฐ I began to get extremely bad pains all through my stomach & back, I was told my baby was going to be born very soon & I was in labour ๐excitement kicked in at the thought that we were going to have our baby today and be able to hold him & see his gorgeous face.. doctors sat us down to give us the rules & laws on babies born before 24 weeks, right there & then in one tiny split second, our whole world fell apart ๐๐ข our boy wouldnt make it
Our baby was born and sadly died on 1st September 2016. we asked the hospital about taking our boy home with us until we could contact the funeral directors. The hospital looked at us like we had requested the impossible, eventually our boy came home with us but couldn't stay long as his body would slowly begin to deteriorate ๐ข๐ผ
We contacted the funeral directors and all arrangements were put in place, we laid our baby to rest & said our final "see you Soon" surrounded by friends & family
Slowly we began to try & rebuild our lives for our3yr old son Cody-Derek, the days never seemed to get any easier & life was never the same again. Months went by & people's lives carried on, until one day when we discovered that we were once again pregnant ๐คฐ we were over the moon, excitement rushed right through our bodies, we had been given a second chance with our Rainbow baby ๐ ๐
Soon came the nervous & panick set in, all the questions rolled through our heads, all the what ifs, what nows & worry rushed round our minds..?!??once again we attended all our scans, which were all perfect, we had a perfect heart beat & luckily at our 12 week scan (we had at 14 weeks) we found out we were having another perfect baby BOY ๐ We decided to call him BAILEY-DAMON ๐
Just days after our scan, I had a massive bleed whilst out with friends, I was rushed to hospital & I believed my baby had gone & it was all happening again ๐ devistation took over my body, I got to the hospital to be told I had a hematoma ( hemorrhage) around our baby but he was still alive & still had a perfect heartbeat, and the hospital agreed to do two weekly scans, due to our previous loss, just to keep our minds at ease & keep an eye on everything with our boys development
We had a scan at 16 weeks and then again at 18 weeks to which nothing was wrong & everything was perfect with our boy, we were so happy ๐
Around 18 weeks 4days I began to loose water, attended the hospital & was told I would have to abort my baby as my baby wouldn't make it if born now ๐ once again our world had been shattered, after many positive discussions with Liverpool Women's Hospital, we were sent home with a little bit of hope, if we could just make it to 24 weeks, the law stated our boy could be saved ๐
I went home and was on complete bed rest, 2 days later sadly my waters went & I went into full blown labour ๐ฉ our baby boy was born and sadly died on 10th February 2017
Once again we couldn't keep our baby at home for too long as his body would begin to deteriorate, we had to contact funeral directors & make all the arrangements again & say our final "see you soon" to yet another son ๐
Our sons deaths have had a massive impact on our lives as individuals and as a family
We are now aiming to hold as many fund raising events & have set this page up to help raise funds to purchase a Cuddle Cot to be donated to Liverpool Women's Hospital Honey Suckle Department in memory of our strong amazing baby angels ๐๐ and to help raise awareness around our community about stillbirth & infant loss ๐๐
Our aim is to raise altogether ยฃ2000 before cheistmas ๐ in every & any way possible ๐ค๐ท
if you can help in any way possible no matter how big or small, please support us hand in hand and donate and share. Thank You
