I am 11 years old and go to Ipswich School in Suffolk. I have a love for music and drama and I am also a student at the Theatre Emporium.

On the run up to Christmas I started to think about all the people who miss out on the magic of Christmas. It made me sad thinking about the homeless and lonely who don't even get one present and I wanted to do something about it.

I wanted to find a way to buy gifts for some people who would be lonely and "present less" this Christmas and decided to write a song to raise money to put that right, mindful that Santa doesn't stop for everyone.

That thought inspired the line "I see Santa flying all over the world, is he gonna stop for me?" Adding some Christmas cheer and lots of jingles the song Merry Jingles was born. With the help of Rich Webb, my music teacher, we brought my lyrics, tune and music to life which I have uploaded to this page for you to listen to and hopefully enjoy!.

On Christmas Day, there is a lunch taking place in Woodbridge for the homeless and lonely. The Salvation Army host this event and I was delighted that they agreed with me that it is a marvellous idea to buy each of their guests a Christmas gift this year.
