Oyez! Oyez! Oyez!
It is with great pleasure, I have recently been voted in as the new Lenham Town Crier.
An honour & a priveledge, I am nervous but excited to continue the great work carried about by my predecessor to promote Lenham village.
On 09.06.2018 I entered the competition for the position of Town Crier & was shocked but thrilled when i was given the title.
At the moment I have a ‘make do’ red jacket & hat, however I am looking to raise funds so I can have a bespoke jacket & accompanying outfit made so I can represent the village with pride.
I am looking to raise £2,000 in total, through fund raising events in the near future. Any extra donations towards the outfit would be greatly appreciated.
