January last year I fell off a ladder and broke my tibia which went through my leg and broke my fibia in two places. I had 11 hours operation which they had to put a metal bar from knee to ankle to hold it all in place.
6 months later they find an infection in my bone and had to cut out the infection and take out the metal bar and replace it with a halo fixator round my leg.
It's been 15 months and I can't work as bones are still healing .
I have children to support and I am in dept and still have over a year to recovering.
Dwp can't help as I haven't pay enough national insurance stamps so can't give me any money .
No means of transport as can't drive at the minute and I have hospital appointments every 6 weeks for check ups
Only way I can get out in in a wheel chair but no funds to go or do anything.
I have never been in this position before and don't know what to do .
