Michael Osborne suffers from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D) and needs an operation to place a valve in his lungs to help him breathe more easily. Michael has had C.O.P.D for 8 years and has had to use a wheelchair for 4 but once he has had this operation, he will no longer need to use the wheelchair. Unfortunately the operation that he desperately needs is not available on the NHS so he must travel to Germany and fund the treatment himself. Michael has the strongest support from his wonderful mother Doreen and they are frequently in our shop on a Friday. Michael and Doreen have been customers at Harris + Hoole Hatfield since we opened 4 years ago and we are his favourite coffee shop! Please help raise money to help Michael breathe easily again!
