I have witnessed first hand the effect that autism has on individuals, who are diagnosed with being on the spectrum .It also has wide ranging implications on family, school and social life. My daughter has twin boys, one has been diagnosed as high functioning, and the other is in the process of being diagnosed. Its caused untold amounts of stress, and concern for the boys futures. Having children with autism, is also a costly affair, as there aren't enough, if any, resources out there. I hope to raise money to help parents put together coping boxes to take into school , or for use at home. These little boxes with coping items inside, are a big help to the children, especially helpful when they are dealing with complex mental and social needs. Parents need help, and so do autistic children. Please be part of the answer to these needs. It will honestly make a difference to children's lives Thank you.
