This page has been set up to help my family affected by a tragic fire in our home on Thursday 27th September leaving us homeless within a matter of few minutes.

My mum and little brother were alone at home when they heard some noise described as fire crackers coming from the back garden. Upon checking my brother saw a fire on the neighbour’s fence approx. 6ft tall and evacuated the house with my mum as quickly as they could with no belongings. They immediately called the fire brigade but within minutes the fire had bursted through the windows entering the property destroying the house and all its furnishings.

According to the fire brigade they are unable to determine the cause of the fire at this moment therefore the investigation is still pending.

We are unable to afford to rebuild the family home due to no insurance. We are currently separated from each other living in different housing (we are sofa surfing with friends and family) until we can find lodging to accommodate us all.

I would have never thought that one day myself and my family would have to deal with such a tragic accident. I am doing this for my parents who are suffering from ill health to try and raise funds to help them deal with the huge costs and to try to help them to rebuild their life. All they have worked so hard for has been lost.

Any donation no matter how small will make a difference. The money you will be providing will help towards the costs of making the house stable and eventually allowing my family to move back home

Update 3/10/18

When I started this page initially, I had no idea we would reach the full target. As you can see the target has been increased today bringing us closer to the rebuilding cost of £40,000. We may not reach full the target but I am hopeful the community will do everything they can In Shaa Allah to support my family.

Everyone’s generosity, kind words and duas have left my family and I speechless. We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for showing so much support and love. May Allah SWT bless everyone with many rewards for helping. We will forever be grateful and you’re all in our prayers.

House fires are unpredictable and can happen to anyone. I’ve been trying my best to stay strong and overcome this situation. What we have raised so far is incredible. Because of everyone’s support and duas, today my family feel hopeful that we can get our home back In Shaa Allah. The community support has been amazing. Alhamdullilah for everyone
