I am fundraising to enable me to support a struggling school in a deprived area of Sri Lanka. The school has been recently developed to support and educate local disadvantaged children.

As well as making education accessible to as many youths as possible, the school works in conjunction with an elephant sanctuary to promote elephant conservation amongst the young next generation.

The school is in desperate need of teaching resources as well as support for the teaching staff. This is where we come in. I plan to travel to Sri Lanka to not only deliver a cash donation and take some much needed teaching resources, but I aim to teach the children some value lessons around life science & hygiene as well as helping them to improve their English Language skills and knowledge of the importancentury of conservation in their area. I will also be working with the existing teachers to share ideas about how to teach certain subjects creatively on a tight budget in a sustainable way.

I will be paying for my own flights and costs and donating my teaching time & knowledge for free but want to raise as much as possible to make a substantial resources, stationary & cash donation to the school and I am not in a position to pay this myself.

So this is where I am asking for your help. Please donate what you to help improve these children's lives and education. In today's world there are so many demands on our finances, so any small amount that you can happily manage would be greatly appreciated by me and gratefully received by the wonderful children and teachers you will be supporting.
