Story
I am taking on a number of sporting challenges in order to help raise funds to support development projects in Borneo. I chose to support Borneo due to the rate that its rainforests are being destroyed and the sad fact that many rural children are missing out on education. With the help of Camps International, I am trying to set up a global learning network where students from my school can visit Borneo and volunteer with building schools and planting trees. It will be a life changing opportunity for them as they will be introduced to the world of travel, take part in vital community projects and learn key skills that will set them up for life.
My challenges:
20km obstacle course race - Chase the Yeti! 25th Feburary 2017
Loughborough 1/2 marathon - April 2nd 2017
Lots more to be confirmed!
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and thank you x100000 if you decide to donate!
